Purdy

I wanted to post a couple of objects of fine craftsmanship given to me recently by my very talented friend Samantha Purdy (of PinPals fame). The first is a pixel cat throw pillow that she gave me for my birthday (modelled on my cat), and the second a charming pot holder that was one of her trial versions. These are the kinds of embroidery and patchwork crafts she's making these days under the name of Maudstitch. You can see her goods in her etsy store or in select shops, such as General 54 in Montreal. They recently profiled her on their blog.
